IGNITE is our Sunday Morning Kids Ministry
We have chosen this name purposely as our goal is to spark a passion for Jesus Christ in our kids. We would love nothing more than to see kids grow in their understanding of who Jesus was and what He has done for us on the cross. With many kids not growing up with the Bible in schools and the challenges we face, we feel it really important to teach them the truths that are in the Bible.
How do we do this? Well we have some very dedicated, passionate volunteers that work in a team to ensure kids get the most out of our time together. We actually start with the kids in church with their parents to ensure families worship together and get kids to see what church is like. After the first part they come out and we have some kids songs in a larger group and introduction to the topic for the day, before the kids then break up into their age groups where the teachers and assistants can really help and guide them dive deeper into the Bible at their age appropriate level.
IGNITE is for Kinder 4 to Grade 6 kids.
We believe it important to partner with families in teaching the kids God’s word and would love nothing more than be an encouragement in helping families bring the Bible in to their homes and seeing families grow in the knowledge and grace of Jesus Christ. We feel it a privilege to be teaching the next generation the truth about God.
Ignite runs every Sunday during term,
We are always happy to have visiting families.
Our prayer for Ignite is that kids grow to have a genuine faith in Jesus as their Lord.
